We believe that the key to business practice lies in taking responsibility for climate change and committing to action to minimise, even neutralise, CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"s2\">Sustainability in the production of our products<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; Cement parts, such as the ones we manufacture, have proven to have a centuries-long durability.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our pieces are made entirely of cement and aggregates that are fully recyclable.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Our cement products do not involve firing, and therefore no direct CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The dyes are natural or obtained by natural processes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The raw materials used are local and in most cases are recycled.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The pieces we currently make are substantially thinner than those made in the past, thus reducing the raw materials required and transport costs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; They are made with Green Label Cement, which generates 35% less emissions than the usual cements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"s3\">Transport and CO2 neutralisation<\/h3>\n<p>From 2020 we apply the requirements of the Euro 5 and ISO 14064-3 standards to reduce and offset carbon production in transport networks by investing in global projects that help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n<p>From 2020 we will offset all CO2 generated by our production (scopes 1 and 2), with the aim of further improving the performance of both our activities and our products.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"s4\">Transition to zero waste<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Combining knowledge and innovation is the challenge we set ourselves to make further progress towards sustainability.
